The striker is currently sidelined with a knee injury suffered against Anderlecht in the semi-final.
He only signed a one-year deal on his arrival at Old Trafford last summer and his future remains very much up in the air.
But Ibrahimovic insists he is nearing a return to fitness, claiming: “In a few weeks I’ll be back in the field.
“Where? Let’s see.”
Ibrahimovic bagged an impressive 28 goals in all competitions for United before his injury.
And the Swede was unsurprisingly delighted to see the Red Devils add to their Community Shield and EFL Cup successes this season.
“When you win, you are always good, you don’t feel even more pain,” he said.
“I regret not being able to play this game. It is normal, I wanted to be on the pitch but the situation is this.
“That’s the most important thing because this is a collective trophy.
“You win and lose together. Now we raised another trophy, which is the third this year of the five available.”
